Last week saw Richard talking at a local event for Drupal developers on the topic of “Introduction to Drupal Commerce”. The event, Drupal North East, is run monthly and is community-supported, making it free to attend for those interested in learning about Drupal.

Drupal Commerce is a relatively new ecommerce system based on the popular Drupal content management system, and Richard’s talk was an introduction to the concepts used in building Drupal Commerce, and its suitability for various types of ecommerce website.

Vicky was kind enough to type up notes from the talk on her blog, so if you’re after a little more information, head over there!

We have experience of a couple of popular ecommerce systems including OpenCart and Magento, and are always happy to help clients decide which platform is the best fit for their business needs; just get in touch.
