We’re pleased to announce a recent MediaWiki project Peacock Carter worked on has launched!
WikiGardening is the brainchild of Lucy, who loves all things gardening. Lucy thought that a wiki would be a great to help gardeners come together and share their knowledge, and chose Peacock Carter due to our expertise with MediaWiki. Wikis are a great way to allow a large (or smaller) community to edit the same content, so WikiGardening was born!
Our work involved a heavily customised design for MediaWiki to incorporate the various types of content for the website that were planned, from individual plant pages which required a very structured look to provide consistency to community pages designed to get people involved in contributing to the website’s content.
